Alibaba's research division publicly released AI-powered Damo Radar capable of evaluating contrast-enhanced CT scans to identify various diseases and abnormalities. The vision-language model is capable of identifying nearly 150 abdominal conditions, including cancers. Across a test suite of nearly 40,000 real-world CT examinations, it recorded a near-perfect accuracy in identifying conditions.

Two Telangana men detained in Qatar over phone use
Kunchepu Ganesh (24) and Deshaboi Sampath (25) from Nirmal district, Telangana, were detained by Qatari police in August for using mobile phones at their workplace, where it was prohibited. Both worked at Aqua Clean Facilities Services. Their families have sought government intervention and legal aid through the District Congress Party.
